😀 For all the pre-dental students, I have two questions. Help me please.

1)Do I send my transcripts out when my spring grades are up (which is in June), or just send out on May 15 without spring grades? If the second option do I have to resend the transcripts when spring grades are up?

2)For the matching form do you just go to the department who's responsible for sending out the transcripts and ask them to put this in the same envelope? or is it ok to make them send it to me and I just put the trascript envelope and matching form in a bigger envelope? Or should I send these to my pre-health adviso, who already has my LORs??

3. Is it necessary to have a matching form for LOR's and transcripts? I won't be at school at the time AADSAS opens to go handing out these silly matching forms.

it wasn't required last cycle...i never used them at all and everything was fine...but i think i read on the adea website that this cycle it's become mandatory....

Oh what the hell. I just found this:

It is mandatory to print a Transcript Matching Form, located inside the AADSAS application, and send it to the institution(s) that will be supplying transcripts on your behalf. Encourage your registrar to attach the Form to your transcript to ensure that AADSAS properly matches your transcript to your application. This helps prevent delays in processing your application.

Wonderful. I'm going to be 400 miles away from my registrar office. Now I have to mail them these silly matching forms and hope they don't screw it up. I haven't even applied yet and I'm already mad at AADSAS 👎

you take the transcript matching forms to the registrars office. as far as waiting for spring grades... its your call. if your GPA thru this past fall is good, you should just send them. if you think your GPA from the spring will help to get interviews then wait. you cant update your AADSAS for courses in progress or planned until december, so if your borderline then wait to send so they have more info to evaluate you on for the first round.
