I have been getting my transcripts together so I can apply to SMPs ( and eventually med school) and I noticed an interesting problem. I took a few distance learning courses at the University of Florida just on a whim and when I requested the transcript I wasn't sent anything. I thought that was odd and after all I paid for it so I called the registar. They told me while they do have me on file they have no record of me taking any classes, distance or otherwise. Considering this isn't a very common topic on here I am guessing it doesn't happen very often ( thankfully). I told the person on the phone that I would be applying to medical schools in the future and asked what I should do. She transfered me to the medical school admissions office, where I left a message explaining the situation and thanked them for their time ( of course I left contact information).
So from the looks of things I am out a good amount of money and time for these classes.

My main question is should I try sending the SMPs and medical schools the transcript anyways and try to account for the classes or should I not send in a transcript from this school? ( Of course I am going to wait for the admissions office to respond but I doubt they will be getting back to me any time soon.)

You generally don't have to apply to SMPs until early next year, and you won't be applying to med schools for a long time. Try to figure out what the heck happened to your academic records before you do anything else.
