will a mid-july transcript received then late august-early september primary verification (who knows if it takes longer bc of this lag) make me late

ive usually hear early-mid august transmission of a primary is ideal so september sounds a little scary

Your application doesn’t go into the verification queue until all of your transcripts are received and marked received. AMCAS doesn’t do partial verifications.

My recommendation is to be verified by July 4th and have everything including letters and secondary essays submitted by Labor Day. By those benchmarks, I'd say that being verified by late-August/mid-September would be late but if you havd everything ready to go including secondaries and letters, it might not be too bad. This year, if you could have everything finished and done by Sept 15th you might be ok. It is going to be a long cycle.

How long after my primary app is transmitted to a school, do I get a secondary? I've heard some people say they get their secondary the very next day, while for others it takes a month...that would largely impact if I can have my secondaries in by labor day as I obv couldnt submit them until they have been extended to me

It depends on the school, just like you said. I received some a few hours later (verified on a Saturday too), and some 2 months later. The vast majority (21/25) of mine were received within 3 days (n=1 though) from verification.

Its going to be longer than that. There appears to be a large fraction of UG universities that are not staffing this summer and therefore are not fulfilling transcript requests until August. Some medical schools have already announced interviews will run thru March and others are informally planning to do so. I would suggest that at least a month delay in the cycle, so Oct 1 is the "ontime" target for being complete, and Christmas as the "Interview Invite" target. Even so, I would suggest that a good 20%-25% of II wont go out until after New Year
I had my transcript emailed via parchment...should I mail an additional copy or have they resolved the parchment issue on their end?

seems theres another delay every time we get an update on the last

I've been waiting for them to process my parchment electronic transcripts since early May. They have not fixed anything. I would mail them.

I wanted to piggyback off this thread and ask if anyone has an idea of what we can expect from AMCAS in terms of verification times for people who submitted mid-late June and early July? It's my first time ever applying and I'm not sure what to expect. I've seen historical verification times and that it peaks around August, but because of the irregularity of this cycle, I'm wondering if verification times might take longer than what has been seen before. I'm noticing that people who submitted on June 8th are getting verified now, which is 22 days. This makes me wonder about those who submitted their app in these past two weeks and whether they will even be verified by the end of August.
