Hey guys im trying to decide whether I should send in my transcript asap(tomorrow or early this week) or wait until after the summer. my dilemma is that Im retaking biochem right now over the summer because i messed up bad and got a D+ in the spring. I also need one more letter of rec and was planning on getting it from this professor. Should i wait until i finish the course and send in the transcript after i get a better grade and lor after summer? or just submit the transcript beforehand because I've read around that schools are a little more lenient for LORs. My Gpa is 3.1 science 2.9 and i'm taking the dat on 6/20. I have decent EC, 40 hours volunteering at the University dental clinic, around 40 hours shadowing dentists, and also spent a few days at a dental laboratory. what do you guys think??

Schools aren't lenient on LORs. They will keep your app on hold if they do not have the required amount on your file.
The big question is, when does your summer semester end and when would be the earliest you can get the transcript that has your summer grade for biochem?
A D+ looks really bad so if you can retake and get an A I think you would be better off applying a little later than now.

crap. Ill be able to get the transcript in the middle of august. thanks a bunch. does anyone agree or disagree??
