The AADSAS asks you to enter your courses and your credits attempted exactly how they are on your transcript. My school (Saint Anselm College) designates only ONE credit to each course, regardless of whether the class has a lab. To the left of the credits are an indicated for credit HOURS which indicates 4 3 or 5.

How will the admissions committees know that a class has a lab? Will they just have to look at my transcript? Is there anything else that I have to do?

In this case, I think I would put down the hours, but I would call AADSAS to make sure.

For the whole lab deal, even if they aren't listed separately from the lecture courses, schools will get it.

None of my bio courses had the labs listed separately, and I didn't run into any problems. Dental schools know that many UG institutions do this on transcripts.

I called the AADSAS and they told me to put down the attempted credits or else the application may be sent back due to not matching the official transcript exactly, which makes sense. I emailed my prehealth adviser so I'm sure she has dealt with this problem before. Thanks Glimmer!

For anyone else with the same question:

My PreHealth adviser has explained to me that the credits indication on the AADSAS application does not specify that they have to be exactly as indicated on the transcript. They should be entered here as credits for a class are defined in your schools course catalog.
