Hi guys!

Someone posted a question earlier regarding this topic but no one had answered it and I am actually in a very similar situation. Glad I'm not alone lol.

Here it goes:
So I took a couple classes at a community college and did HORRIBLE in them, like not even good enough to mention, but they were not related to the science field in any way (they were general education courses which I later took at my main university and passed). I never transferred them over to my university and am on the track to graduating this spring.

My question here is do I REALLY need to send that community college transcript to be verified on optomCAS? I mean, I retook the classes and passed and the classes are not even required for optometry schools.

Will I be in trouble if I never send that transcript to be verified? Can they ever find out if I even took classes at cc?

Thanks guys!! 🙂

I was in a similar situation and did not send everything. It worked out okay

You are required to report all classes taken at all institutions. If you get around that, good for you, but you could jeopardize your application if it's picked up. Gamble!
