are you allowed to send dental schools your new grades or do you have to send it to aadsas for the update period?

for example: for next yr if i had summer grades and i already sbmitted by aadsas in may what would i do with the summer grades?

or do you wait to submitt the aadsas all together until all grades are in?

schools will take anything that you send them. however, i'm pretty sure that AADSAS only allows updates after the fall semester.

if you have taken your core classes and have a gpa>3.5, you should apply as early as possible.

thanks for the replies - would the school just recalculate your GPA themselves? thats what im wonder because aadsas does all that for them already..how does that work

It is my understanding that all your grades must go through AADSAS. However, there are schools that will "unofficially" take your updated official transcripts. You should contact the schools you applied to and see which of them would do this for you. And I am sure these schools can recalculate your GPA once they have your updated grades. 😀🙂😎
