Hello All,
I was wondering how much of a "red flag" is it for residency programs if you fail your first year of medical school? My transcript shows my grades from my failing year and it does not get added into my GPA. I am doing really well since then and my GPA is really high however my transcript still shows my previous grades and has the letter E next to those grades which is means it is excluded. What does that mean for my chances of matching Neurology or maybe another speciality that I may be interested in?
