transcripts rec'd by AACOM?

i haven't paid the AACOM fee yet (still waiting on MCAT scores), but i did request transcripts to be sent to AACOM. will it show up under "transcripts" when they receive them, even before i've paid the fee? i feel like they should've gotten them by now!

Just pay it now, and update it when the MCAT scores come in.

yes, they will show up under transcripts as received before the fee is paid. they probably did get them but haven't posted them yet, from my experience they post within 3-5 days of reception of transcripts.

I sent one envelope with 2 letters requesting my transcript to be sent to both AACOMAS and the MD server (i can't even remember what it's called 🙂 - the records woman was so dense (or was it just that confusing?) she sent one letter off to the MD server and kept the second as an "extra copy" and assumed i was "donating" 3 bucks to the school.

moral: check the transcripts box and if 2 weeks after you requested them, they still haven't been receieved, call your colleges records office to see if they've been sent off and then AACOMAS

I requested my transcript back on May 24th to be sent. The school says they sent it May 30th. AACOM says they dont have my transcript.

So yesterday (June 16th) I went and bought a prepaid OVERNIGHT express USPS envelope and label (~$15), and drove it over to the transcript office at the school and took care of it that way. AACOM should receive it today, but they close on saturdays, so I guess first thing monday.

How long after you sent them did they post? Mine were a little over a week, now 8 days I think, I am wondering when they will post.
