Transcripts STILL not entered into PTCAS...advice?

So, I e-submitted my app to PTCAS like the day after it opened. I requested my transcripts from all of my schools (3) a week later. PTCAS entered my transcripts from my undergrad instituation (Rider) and the school I took a random class at one summer during ungrad (GMU) exactly 8 days after I requested my transcripts to be sent.

At the same time I requested Rider and GMU to send my transcripts, I asked Marymount to do the same. It's been 3 weeks and it still isn't entered as received on PTCAS's website. I called PTCAS today and they told me to just keep waiting....WTF? I've also verified that my transcripts were definitely sent.

I'm worried because the early decision deadline is August 15th and if I wait too long to find out if they were ever sent, then I'm going to get screwed over. So, should I ask Marymount to resend? Does PTCAS sign for certified mail so that I know that my transcripts have definitely been received? Also, do they review items by the postmark date? Like, if they received it after August 15th but it says it was sent on July 12th, does that count as being submitted by the deadline?

Of course, all of my pre-requisites were completed at Marymount so all of the classes that actually matter are on there....

Anyway, I'm freaking out. Any help would be appreciated! thanks guys and gals!

Yikes...that is really frustrating. I was worried about my transcripts too so when I called PTCAS the woman actually checked some folder to see if maybe my transcript had arrived but had not been checked in. You said you are absolutely sure that all the schools had sent them, and to the right address? My guess is that PTCAS got a ton of apps in the last few weeks, and that yours are sitting there but not processed. See if they can check for you...I know that the first few times I called they told me the same thing, to just wait. But perhaps you will reach someone who can check in more detail for you.

That's weird, because you and I both completed our apps on the very first day that PTCAS opened up, and they input my transcripts on the 13th of July.

So it was definitely Marymount's fault. They told me they sent out my transcript the day that I requested it...apparently the woman who was looking at the computer was reading the wrong date because they didn't send it out until July 26th...They were entered into PTCAS's database today....geeez.

Either way, I'm glad they finally made it...and now I just wait for processing...sigggghhhhhhhhhh

Ugh, administrative mistakes like this always make me feel a bit paranoid. I'd often prefer to work many times harder and be in control than rely on these third parties to handle these steps. Luckily you got it figured out though!

I'm still waiting on mine, but then again I don't expect to see anything until the end of next week.
