transcripts to AADSAS or individual schools?

Hi, everyone:
Still, I'm not very clear of the procedures applying to dental school. I send my transcripts to AADSAS. But when I just check Stony Brook's website in the procedures, they request an offical transcripts to send to them directly. What's that? Do I need to send my transcripts to individual schools also? Thanks a lot.

Not unless they specifically ask you to send them in addition to AADSAS. Most of the time they say something like "send transcripts directly to us if you haven't sent them through AADSAS", etc. I haven't had to send any additional ones besides the ones I sent to AADSAS. (but I have not applied to any NY schools)
