Transcripts to AMCAS ?AND?OR? MD Schools

Do I release my transcripts from my undergraduate and graduate schools to *BOTH* my MD schools that I'll be applying and also to AMCAS, or simply to one of these 2 institutions?

I'm confused about all this, and I'm also surprised about all this. I'm quite surprised that AMCAS/AAMC requires different transcripts from even the summer schools that I attended SEPARATELY from my "main" university from which I graduated from.

You will need to send copies of ALL transcripts to AMCAS when you apply. If accepted, the school will ask you to have copies sent to them as well. But first step is AMCAS.
