Transcripts to Interfolio?

Can one send transcripts to Interfolio as a "holding area" and then successfully submit the transcripts to AADSAS on opening say when the matching forms become available?

Has any one tried this?

The reason I ask is I'd like to get my transcripts ahead of time because the lines are always very long during the opening of admissions (Dent, Med, Law, MBA, etc.).

I am under the impression it will not work, as AADSAS requests the transcripts sent directly from the school. Nevertheless, I thought I'd ask because Interfolio handles official transcripts.

Yes, these services are created just for that reason. I had this free letters service at my undergrad school career services. I had requested my letters a year before I applied, so I didnt have to deal with confronting my professors when they forgot all about me. They were holding my letters and when I had to submit, I simply emailed them the matching forms and everything was taken care of within a day or two. 👍

I was thinking the same thing too. but can anyone who is 100% sure about this answer plz

Since there's no one replying, I'm assuming that it may be just better to have the schools send the transcripts and no go through Interfolio.

Best not to take chances, especially if nobody has done it or was advised that it is alright to do.

So, the original thought still stands: do not use Interfolio to handle your official transcripts for AADSAS submission.
