I plan on submitting my AACOMAS and AMCAS app both on June 2nd. Sent my transcript request from both to all my undergrad institutions the same day. AMCAS has a spot for you to sign the request. AACOMAS does not. So to expedite things go ahead and sign the AACOMAS one somewhere. Lesson learned!

Wait, what? Are you saying we need to sign the AACOMAS request form? How does signing the form expedite the process?

didnt sign my accomas, it was still recceived and verified within a week

Crap... I wonder if that is why one of my transcripts is still lagging... How did you come across this? Did you call them and ask? Did AACOMAS ask you to resubmit with a signed sheet, or did it just take longer to process but still went through unsigned?

Well you know what? There are no instructions I've been able to find regarding that form needing to be signed. Relax guys.

Just send transcripts online and include your AACOMAS ID# in one of the address fields

The problem wasn't with AACOMAS. It was my school. I had 3 separate UG schools and two of them require a SIGNED transcript request. Some schools don't. To save the headache go ahead and sign the transcript request AACOMAS provides.

If you can send eTranscripts do so, but my schools didn't offer that.

Required by the undergrad institution, not by AACOMAS. My school required a signature. Not all will.

Does anyone know if I can submit my TMDSAS or AMCAS applications without all transcripts being received? I am waiting for one HCC summer transcript to be received. What will happen if I submit the application without the transcript being received? Will they receive it and then just throw it away?
