ALL transcripts go directly to AACOMAS. AACOMAS then calculates your GPA and sends your GPA and a summary of courses/grades to each school you apply to.

once accepted to a medical school you need to forward ALL of your transcripts to the school where you plan to matriculate.

In both cases you must send all coursework taken even the repeated ones.

IN the end, all schools will see all your grades. This applies to MD and DO schools.

Hey guys,

Ive repeated like 6 courses and I know that the AACOMAS takes the higher grade when calculating your GPA. So do you just send ur transcripts to them to calculate ur GPA and they send it to the osteopathic schools or do you have to send your transcripts to the osteopathic school you wish to attend as well? I was just wondering cause the grades I initially got weren't good at all. Thanks for all the help!

AACOMAS only factors into the GPA the more RECENT grade NOTthe higher grade necessarily!
