do we need to report and send transcripts from summer programs during high school or college courses taken while in high school?

Did the college courses count toward your high school degree? If you recieved college credit for them, then you need to report the credits? Are they on your college transcript as transfer credits, counting toward your total credits for graduation, then you need to send the original transcript.

Nope, i just took them for fun/high school requirements, they werent included in my undergraduate degree.

You have to report any and all classes you took and received college credit or that you withdrew from EVER in your life. So you must include any and all colleges where you may have taken classes.

I took 6 college classes in my high school senior year. I had to get transcripts for them and they were included in my ACCOMAS GPA.

I have ended up 3 college transcripts.

hey amy,

how about if the credits were applied to your high school credits? Do they still count as college credits earned too?

Hi
I got credit from my high school and from the community college that sent their professors to the high school to teach the courses. I think if I were you I would call the school and ask what kind of credit you received. I can't imagine getting only high school credit for a college course.

The courses I took were. History to 1865, History 1865-present, Intro Sociology, Intro Psychology, Composition English I and II. These include my English (1 year) and my behavioral courses (1 year) which are prereqs for med school, so it was very important that I included them.

Don't know if that helps you or not, but when in doubt... call the school.

Good luck in the application process!

I think you're wrong,,,you are mixing up AMCAS with AACOMAS....AACOMAS doesnt even give you the option of selecting high school as academic status

Yep, that's true. I did mix them up. On my AACOMAS app I had to put my high school classes as English, other non-science and behavioral science. It says what year I took them. Other than that it doesn't say high school.

Funny enough, these classes did come up in my interview last week. the doctor said... "Wow there is a big gap between these classes and your other classes. Were they taken in high school?
