I'm trying to transfer schools right now, so I'm filling out the applications for the winter semester... I'm not quite sure if I should include this in my "classes" - I took an EMT-Paramedic course through a hospital system education department. It doesn't count for any college credit, it isn't transferable, and the education department isn't accredited the same way a college would be, to my knowledge their accreditation is only so you can take the national registry, and become nationally registered as an paramedic.

I took a semester off of school to attend the class, and have been working full time for a while now.. it's a great experience, and my essay revolves around EMS. I want to be able to submit my application, and not have to argue about getting "official transcripts" sent over, when the "official" transcript looks like a excel spreadsheet.

Basically, is it permissible to leave this out of the application (I got a 3.7 in the class, so I'm not trying to hide my grades or anything) in terms of "classes", and just add it as an extracurricular activity?

List the certification, don't list the class. Since it's not gradable, what's the point of committing an extra headache? You obviously passed it, and nobody can proved that you passed it with a C rather than an A (and, since it's EMT-P, has nothing to do with science and nobody really cares anyway).
