I took a college class last year and got a B in it. I don't like it feels like a dent in my Grades. BUt i also got 8 other credits from that same school. So if i don't transfer that 1 B i lose 2 A. I don't know what to do. Do MEd Schools care about one B you got during High school? Do most college who calculate the Grades for latin honors considered transfered grades?

You have to show ALL college level work (regardless of when you took it or even where you took it) to medical schools. You might as well transfer the credit to your college and get college credit for it, since you'll have to show medical schools those grades anyway.

well technically, I don't have to transfer those credits and just pretend i never took them. Med school would never know. I can retake the credit in college. BUt yeah i don't want to waste my time taking it over. Btw can anyone recoormend like what course i should take.

Im a sophmore right now. THe only science class ive taken so far is psychology. I am going to try to follow the premed prereq course but i have to double up quite a few science courses and taken summer and overload

pretend you never took them? well, you did take them and a B isn't going to ruin your chances of getting into medical school. now if you get two B's................

Stuff like this has a tendency to catch up with you. I've heard of cases where students have been kicked out for not listing all attempted college courses. It does happen.

It's your life. You do what you want. But the rule is that you MUST show all attempted college work (even if it did not transfer).

Yup, supposedly they can even take your degree away from you if they find out you lied on your application. Sounds harsh, but I wouldn't risk any lie, however small

THanks guys- By the way about about CLEP exams do have to report those if you don't get a Grade?

Does anyone know about college courses you were never technically enrolled in? In highschool I took 3 courses at NYU, but i never got an NYU transcript and the profs just submitted the grades to my highschool. I've never even tried to get credit from my college since I've always thought they didn't count... Not that it matters, I got good grades, but I'm curious if those need to be on an application, and if they will be factored into my gpa.

Also, my school doesn't count transfered credits in your gpa, do med schools look at your schools calculation, or recalculate themselves (like for my semester abroad)?
