Transferring after 1 year?!?!?!?!!?!?!

Hey guys, I've recently gotten accepted to a couple schools but I didnt get accepted yet into my top choice..i was wondering..what's the deal with transfer students? Like..grades, does what school ur transferring from matter, etc?

I do not think most schools want transfer students. They want you in the program they have created for the full 4 years (3 yrs at UOP) Under extreme circumstances I think they do it, but I do not think disliking a school is extreme. Anyone else know of how this is viewed or of anyone who has switched schools?

The only transfers I heard of was when Northwestern closed and the students had to transfer to other schools. I have never heard of a transfer.
