Is it possible to take graduate school courses during a gap year and transfer them into an MD-PhD program that you matriculate into?

Is it possible to take graduate school courses during a gap year and transfer them into an MD-PhD program that you matriculate into?

This would be dependent on the department you end up in for your PhD, but based on my experiences, probably not. The only exception might be if you took the class during your gap year in the department you enter for your PhD.
