Ummm, I don't know where to ask this but... I'll be transferring for next fall. As people who transfer know, I need LOR's from my professors. They've already agreed to make me one but I was wondering what form do I give them so they can write it and what information? Thanks..

Wait, aren't you a freshman? I doubt you're going to want to use 2.5 year-old LOR's from freshman classes when it comes time to apply.

I don't know how things work now that the AAMC centralized LOR distribution, but I would imagine they have some generic form with the "I waive my right to read this letter, blah, blah..." legalese on it available for download and/or printing.

No no, they are for the schools I plan on transferring too, not for Medical School. I'm just wondering what form do I provide them with so they can send the LOR's to the schools. It's probably in the wrong forum but, yeah.. I really need help because I only have 2 days left to provide them with all the materials they need to write me a letter. 🙁

Oh, got it. If they wanted any sort of waiver, they'd probably have a copy available on their websites. If you can't find one, you can always call the admissions offices and ask. Otherwise, I'd just send the letters.

I would imagine it's the same one that's used for freshman admissions. It's also probably different for every school. Have you checked the websites of the schools you're applying to?

Yeah, I've checked their websites and some have forms and other don't. Yeah this is what I was looking for. I thought that there was some form or something. Oh and I'm going to CC right now so I didn't get any from teachers. =( I wasn't on the ball during my senior year.

I'm betting that if a school doesn't say on their website that a specific form is required, it isn't required. But call the admissions department and ask just to make sure! 🙂

I'll do that first thing tomorrow considering that most likely they are closed by now. I'm going to have a PACKED 2 days. lol Thanks for all the help. 👍
