transferring residency

Any advice would be helpful...
My husand is been relocated for work, to washington state, near seattle, to keep our family together I am looking for my pgy-2 year. I will have completed my first year this summer in georgia, what is the best way to go about transferring, and what resources are out there? thanks.

These are difficult times for everyone. I am expecting a lot more people to face the same problem including myself ( I hope not). PD's won't like this but it's part of the whole economy thing. I heard that its a good idea to ask the PD if he/she knows about a spot somewhere because a lot of it is internal news. Or you could check on SDN/resident swap. Good luck!
