Why do you want to transfer? Transferring can only hurt you, I feel like your gap in knowledge base would be very large changing curriculums. No curriculum is gonna match up perfect

You have to have a legit reason to transfer to the school (SO is a student there, parent dying of cancer, etc). Your dean has to write a letter approving it, along with the school to accept you. The school has to have an open spot(s). Transfer has to take place after Step 1

We had 2 people transfer to my school this year into M3 and they fill all of the criteria above

You won't get any MD schools to take you as a transfer student from a DO school.

You’re not really fooling anybody with the “I’m not asking for myself” thing, by the way. From a quick read through your post history, it’s obvious that you’d like to find a way to transfer to an MD school from DO. Somebody above already gave you the answer to that.

I have personally seen a transfer from a Caribbean school to a high ranked MD school. I don't know how it happened but it did. Person started over as an M1, so not exactly a pure "transfer."

Hiya there! I'm a transfer - MD to MD. I transferred after M2 year. Dropped my scholarship but I believe in exchange got better clinical training and residency prep. Let me know what specific questions you have.
