It is possible to transfer from a DO program to an allopathic program. I personally know 2 of them.

Those must have been really extenuating circumstances. I don't think it's common.

He/she posted in a thread in 2006 about a DO in residency becoming MD so i guess hes still pursuing it. Ors hes a happily practicing DO
