I know that most of the IM Prelims do cover the ACGME requirements for Neurology. Can people please list the transitional year programs that also will adequately cover the ACGME requirements for Neurology. I have been trying to look at each program's website, and it's a tedious task. I think it would be helpful if people who have done transitional year prior to Advanced Neurology can list these programs. Thanks!

I don't ever remember seeing a central repository of info stating which TY is fine and which isn't. From what I understand, most TY PDs (including the ones at the programs in my city (sorry, can't reveal which)) will accommodate your licensing requirements. If in doubt, I'd just start emailing to verify.

Hope that was at least minimally helpful.

Thanks PhakeDoc, that was helpful. The problem is that a lot of TY programs list that you have to choose electives from such and such, and they don't necessarily fit the ACGME guidelines and a lot of them require Surgery, Ob/Gyn or other rotations. I guess I didn't realize that programs will work with you and modify the TY to fulfill the requirements. If anyone thinks contrary, please post it here!
