Hey guys,

For those of you who had recently traveled, please help me clarify this security measure:

Travelers may now carry through security checkpoints travel-size toiletries (3 ounces or less) that fit comfortably in ONE, QUART-SIZE, clear plastic, zip-top bag.

So does this mean I have to check in my hairspray and lotion that are more than 3 oz.? I hate to do check in when I am only bringing a small bag. Traveling has gotten so tough/annoying since my last flight.

Yes, you can only go through security with those 3oz items in a quart-sized ziplock bag. You can carry an empty water bottle and fill it up once you are passed the checkpoint. If you are at a hotel, you might want to call them to see if they have some of the items behind the front desk (toothpaste, shave gel, etc.) that you can get once you are there. You can always just stop at the travel section in the grocery store and buy the smaller items to fit in your quart-sized bag. Oh, and don't check baggage through US Airways in Philly, PA...many people waited an hour to get their baggage.

Thank you for informing me of this! I just hate this. Traveling used to be so easy and stress-free. Now I have to spend money to buy things I already have! So annoying..

I guess I won't be bringing my hairspray and just buy it when I'm there...unless I want to check in my one bottle of hairspray. 😡
