trend in pharmacy

I'm trying to find info on what the current trend in pharmacy is...
I want to say that pharmacists are having a more prominent role in the medical field...but I don't have anything specific to back that up, if that is true?

When I had that as an interview question I typically mention the trend trying to move away from dispensing tasks, through either delegation of tasks to pharm techs or automation through use of robotics, towards more patient counseling services.
