Since osteopathic schools replace grades, how do they determine which courses are equivalent? For instance, if an introductory biology course was taken at college A several years ago will an introductory bio course currently being taken at college B be considered equal? Though the classes are different in nature, they are still considered the intro bio sequence for both institutions. All help is appreciated...thanks.

Only if the course classifications are the same (i.e. same department and course level). The truth is, you will only know by contacting them.

Hi Jonahs. I think if you bio course was at a 100 level ish (eg. 150's) Then it should be at the same level. Also, both will be considered into your BCMP gpa if your applying for MD. For DO a course with a better grade will count
