So I'm doing Math Destroyer and I came across a problem (Test 2, #16) which requires you to know some trig identities to simply:

[ 1 + tan^2(x) ] / tan^2(x)

I couldn't solve this all the way using the identities provided by chad's QR outline:

Is there a list of relevant trig functions that you should memorize for the DAT out there somewhere? Or is this question outside the scope of the real DAT?

Also, for all those who have used Math Destroyer, are you supposed to take each test in under 45 minutes? I've definitely been going over! Thanks.

Never really came across the last 2 identities when I went through math destroyer(2010). Didn't see them either on real DAT.

May want to include the Law of Sin and maybe Law of Cos

Yeah you might just want to know those just in case. I also recommend looking at the unit circle and understanding how it works.

On my DAT, I had a question simple as "sin of π/3 is..."

Oh and don't worry about going overtime a little. It actually took me double the time to finish most of the tests. The Math Destroyer was harder than the real thing I thought.

I think you should learn the ones that Chad gives and also the ones at the front of the Math Destroyer. Those are the only ones I learned! I can't really remember much about my QR section, though... I was just SO ready to get the darn test over with!
