Trig sin wave functions graphs

Do we need to know about trig graphs or wave functions on the DAT. Ex.
They give us the equation Y=-3Sin((1/2)( X))+2. Will we need to find the period, amplitude, and possibly even identify what graph it is?

You just need to know what the amplitude and period are, and you need to know the shape of basic trig functions.
Trig is part of the DAT and you mentioned is taught as part of a trig course.
