Hi,

For those of you who already took the pcat exam this year, were there any problems that were trigonometry or geometry related in the QA section? Were you required to know sine, cosine, etc or the volume and surface area of a certain shape? The old pcat study materials that I have contain a few of these problems, but I do not see trigonometry and geometry listed in the pcat test blueprint. Still, can someone please confirm/reassure me that these problems will not come up in the exam so I will have one less thing to worry about?

Also, for the chemistry section, if you were given a calculation problem... lets say a PV=nRT problem... would the value of the constant (R) be provided or are you required to know them?

Thank you for your time!

you only need to know the basics of those. i meant it is not hard to memorize those so it is your best bet to memorize the most important basics parts to be on the safe side

All constants needed for solving the problem will b given to you, including R for gas problems
