I am by no means looking at applying to any Caribbean schools and my drive to become a doctor is not strong enough to consider them, but (at least from their self published numbers...) this doesn’t seem THAT bad? If someone is that desperate, would this be a *statistically* worthwhile route for them?

Note* I do not intend on recommending the Caribbean pathway to anyone, but if there are particular schools there that boast such high match rates *relatively for IMG* should I intentionally stop someone who has made up their mind for one of these schools?

The problem with many of these statistics, especially the ones posted by the schools themselves, is that 1) Many of the schools have conflicting data or don't provide any evidence for these percentages. 2) They don't take into consideration the amount of people who failed out during the first 2 years.

The Carib schools are under no obligation to tell the truth about match rates, so treat thier numbers as lies.

Love the kitteh.
Not so sure about the lounge chair...
This is the cat I had to pay the fine for in university housing. What you see before you is my IA lol

Yah...the lounge chair is terrible. But, when you are a poor self-funded college student in a two student household (three student if you count my daughter's preschool 😉) then you take whatever hand-me-down furniture you can get from your family.
