I've been looking at UMass-Boston and Harvard's Extension school. UMass has advising along the whole way and they apparently help you get volunteer hours in.

OTOH, Harvard is Harvard. And it costs about the same as UMass. The only thing is that they don't have any formal pre-med advising for the extension students, but they will write you a committee letter. I'm tempted to go with UMass just because it feels "safe" with all the advising and handing out clinical experiences, but I'm afraid if I do that I'll give up an awesome opportunity to do my post-bacc at Harvard.

Opinions? Advice? Experiences? Anyone do their post-bacc at either of these places?

I doubt you are going to get any answers on this forum. Probably best to post on the post-bac forum.

"OTOH, Harvard is Harvard. "

And that is how Harvard Extension School makes a lot of money.

If the prices are the same, I'd go with UMass. I like holding hands, long walks on the beach...wait, what?! 😛

Sounds like UMass has more opportunities. I'd go with them.
