... Dublin. SO confused now?!

I am in a conundrum now...should I go there....or SGU? I mean....I have plane tickets for me and my mum, signed an apartment agreement. Paid 5000 deposit + 650 for the apartment. Then there is the cost of Ireland, which is a bit more...not too much more though...I calculated it....yes in the worst case scenario exchange wise as well... would it be worth it? I could probably afford it. SGU gave me a scholarship though....a substantial one... 😕

You're forgetting the raping you're going to get on housing/food in the UK, especially in the larger cities. Pretty sure SGU's substantially cheaper in the long run by like 50k. Paid back with 20yrs of interest that's a lot of cash... you're still an fmg, and your classmates know you're just there because you couldn't get in in your own country, basically subsidizing their free education with your astronomical tuition...

I'll ignore the fact that you have no idea that Dublin is in Ireland, which is not in the UK. It is in the Republic of Ireland.

The Euro is used in Ireland and not the Pound and the US dollar is doing better against the Euro than in the Pound. Plus Ireland has been hit hard by the economic crisis and prices have crashed in Dublin. Ireland is cheaper than London by a country mile.

Please try to do a little research before posting.

My advice for a Canadian trying to work in the US or Canada is to go to SGU.

If you are 100% set on Canada, especially Quebec, then UCD would be a better choice.

Owned.

yeah UCD is in Dublin definitely part of the Republic of Ireland not the UK. if it was in North Ireland say Belfast Ireland or Lonodonderry Ireland then it would be part of the UK.. where's your middle school geography?

ohh and the proper spelling of owned is pwn3d..

Haha. Yeah, you know I'm not quite sure. 😳. Talk about your brainfarts
pwn3d by Mcgillgrad. Man that is embarassing...🙄

Anyway, not really sure what impact that has on the points I made.
Irish schools, UCD included, are more expensive than SGU (38.5k Eu, so actual tuition fluctuates with the exchange rate).
The cost of living in the UK...and Ireland, is higher.
...and you don't really see much of a benefit for that increase in price, because you're still an FMG. (Though to be fair UCD, UCC, and RCSI do put out some pretty strong matches, and as the percentage of US grads attending is relatively low, their list is pretty impressive)
