I'm a UCLA student who wants to go to UCLA dental school. Many people have told me that UCLA professional schools don't like their own undergrad students and favor students from other schools. Is this true? Or is this some kind of joke that some UCLA students who couldn't get in made up? (like those who used to say you can't get into both Cal and UCLA😀)

False. A number of my dental school classmates, as well as I, were UCLA undergrads.
