Hey y'all!
My friend asked me to ask this on her behalf (she doesn't have an account).
She's applying for US osteopathic medical schools this year as a Canadian citizen.
Her stats: 3.82 GPA (her GPA at McGill... not sure of conversion for AACOMAS), 27 MCAT (10 verbal, 9 bio, 8 physics), and amazing, extensive, well-rounded ECs.
This year she was interviewed at medical schools in Canada but was waitlisted/ not accepted so this year she is applying to DO as well.
She can't financially afford to apply to a lot of schools so she is applying to what she thinks are the two most Canadian friendly. She hasn't found any stats specific for Canadian admission for MSUCOM and WesternU COMP.
She is applying to MSUCOM because of their Canadian initiative. Schools say they are Canadian friendly but stats-wise would WesternU COMP be a good second choice? Should she apply to another school too (if so, which?)?
She says to keep her 27 MCAT in mind. Thanks everyone 😀
