bio ek says tht trypsin activates the zygomen form of pancreatic lipase.

in the explanation it says that trypsin is activated by enterokinase and then activates the other pancreatic enzymes.

what other pancreatic enzymes does trypsin activate?...does it activate all the pancreatic enzymes?

*Trypsin converts chymotrypsinogen into chymotrypsin.
*Trypsin also converts trypsinogen to make more trypsin.
[Small amount of enterokinase(same as enteropeptidase) initiates the reaction by converting trypsinogen to trypsin, then increasing amounts of trypsin convert more trypsinogen to trypsin in a mini-positive feedback loop.]
*I don't know Jack about pancreatic amylase(alpha-amylase) precursors, but I think they are also active upon sectretion.
*Pancreatic lipases do not need trypsin since they are active upon secretion.

Hm an error, I think Hawkeye is right.

Enterokinase activates trypsinogen (the zymogen form of trypsin). That's what we learned in Kaplan Bio 🙂
