Hi all,
I didn't see a thread on this yet topic yet... I was wondering if people applying to Tufts are planning on reusing/reworking the vmcas personal statement for the main Tufts essay, or if you're starting from scratch.
Tufts essay asks why you should be accepted as a vet student, if only 100 were accepted this year instead of 3000.
It seems like the vmcas essay of why you want to be a vet indirectly answers their question, but doesn't quite address it. But to directly answer their question I feel like I'd just have to brag about anything different about me, which is less interesting 🙂.

What I did last year (and will likely do this year, if I ever get anything written), is tweak the VMCAS essay to fit the Tufts prompt. A straight copy-paste isn't going to cover what Tufts is asking you, but I found it useful to pick and choose bits of my VMCAS personal statement and alter them to fit, and fill in the gaps with new things.

ditto (except the part about doing it again this year)
