Hey y’all I’m applying for endo and I just feel like I don’t have much info especially due to covid and not being able to visit on tufts endo residency. If anyone has any insight on how good the program is I would really appreciate it. I know it’s really had hard to get into any program and I haven’t gotten into this program. I’m just not from that area so I have no connections to learn about the program. Thanks!

Anywhere you go, if you put the time and energy into the program, you will come out a skilled endodontist. Sure, programs have different clinical setups, tech, and philosophies, but majority of residents go where they get into and where their families are ok moving to for a couple years. So If you are ok with Boston, Tufts is a great choice.

Tufts undergrad here, so I don't have much insight into the day to day life for Tufts Endo residents, BUT I will say this... of all the specialties the endo department was the most organized and well-run department (wasn't really close) when it came to teaching us. The faculty are top-notch and all the residents know their stuff. It seems like they run a tight ship, but the faculty are very friendly with good personalities

Pretty sure that's one of the most expensive endo programs out there...I heard $130,000/yr, if I'm not mistaken. I did my endo residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham, which was $12-15,000/yr, so you can see the huge difference to your debt that your program choice can have. Make sure to consider this when making a decision!
