Hey everyone,
I was just finishing up my essays for tufts (yeah, i know it's cutting it a little close) but anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knew if both essays are supposed to be double spaced. I know it says the last one should be, but what did you guys do for the first one??? I realize that I am being paranoid, but I just want to make sure it's done right.

I went with double spacing only the essay that specified to.

I believe the other, first essay, was intended as one page only. If that was meant to be double spaced, it wouldn't be leaving us much room to yak!

And the other two things were short answer stuff.

I don't think it matters. They didn't specify, so it's their fault if you single spaced it and they wanted it double spaced. I'm sure most people single spaced the first essay, because trying to fit your experience into one double spaced page is out of control.

i'm just curious, how many experiences did you all talk about in that essay?

I single spaced the essay where they didn't specify. I agree that 1 page double-spaced would be far too short to write a good essay on the topic (although I have been known to be long-winded from time to time 😉 ) As far as the number of expierences, I talked about my most two recent/relevant expierences and elaborated on those.

Hope this helps!

Lisa

I, too, double-spaced the one essay where they specified. The first one I single-spaced.

thanks everyone, looks like i'll be single spacing mine as well

I rewrote the essay about only admitting 100 students into vet school this year. Anyone mind reading it and letting me know what you think?

Whoa this is a VERY old thread!

You probably would have been better off starting a new one.

That being said, if you want to PM me your essay I'll take a look at it for you.
