Any thoughts on Tufts? Most of the stuff I've found is from years ago. I'm leaning towards ranking it above BCRP and CHOP because my impression is that it will make me into a more competent and confident all-around physician at the residency level, and the residents seem extremely close and supportive of each other. Haven't met anyone who has made this decision and wondering why. Curious to hear anyone's thoughts! Thanks!

Rank where you want to rank. You don't need anyone else's approval to do so. It's your decision and your impression and your future. You likely have different goals, personality, priorities, impressions, etc. than other people.

I agree with BigNavyPedsGuy- it is your residency, etc., and you need to do what feels "right" for you. The good news about pediatrics is that there are a bunch of excellent residency programs that will prepare you well for a variety of career paths. The programs you mentioned are all fine programs, but which one is "right" isn't necessarily the same for all applicants.

I agree. Going with a certain name can be tempting but in the end you have to be happy. Residency is stressful- at the end of the day it matters more that your happy where you are and you have good people around you. Go with your gut!
