When I was there, the morning consisted of the good old information session followed by a tour (very unstressful). Then came lunch. I sat down and started talking to one of the students about how she liked the school. In the middle of my sandwich, I was tapped on the shoulder by an older professor and told me it was time to go (it was as if the grim reaper had come for me😱 ). As soon as he opened his mouth, I knew I was going to be okay. Furthermore, the student whom I was talking to at lunch happened to be one of my interviewers as well. She didn't say much though. Just added a few questions at the end. I think she was there to make me feel more comfortable.
In the begining, the interview consisted of typical questions about the application. Then there were some more thought provoking questions but nothing that stumped me. For instance, one question was "what about dentistry excites you". Just be honest and, remember, you don't have to answer right away (think about it a little). Overall, the interview was casual and very laid back. I noticed alot of joking around and I felt they were trying to get to know me better rather than get me to screw up. Just remember to be yourself and don't be nervous. You are in good shape...once they ask for an interview, you have about an 85% chance of getting in. Good luck.
