Tufts Interview

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Go to "Audiology" at the top on this page and look for "interview feedback."

Hopefully you'll find what you need and it is very helpful.

the dental section also has interview feedback 😛

hey congrats on teh interview! do you mind sharing your stats like gpa/dat/date of application completion

thankssss 🙂

Mena covered most of it. I was in the same group, and it was a really relaxed, friendly kind of day. Most of us had 4th year students as our interviewers so it was easy to ask them questions about student life, research, etc. Make sure you eat lunch really fast or have a huge breakfast because you don't have a lot of time between getting your lunch (which was delicious) and when students come in to talk to you.

They said last year they accepted 60-70% of those who got interviews, so if you've gotten this far you should be in pretty good shape. I was a little bored during the Financial Aid presentation, so we did the math on the numbers for this cycle, and so far, its more like 75% percent of interviewees get accepted (but it's probably just because its early).

I had never been to Boston before, so I stayed a total of 3 days just to see the city, and I loved it! I'd recommend doing AT LEAST one day of touring, just to get a feel for the city and the people.

I have an interview coming up at the end of January at Tufts. Do those stats (75% acceptance rate if given an interview) still hold up after post-December 1st invites?

can you tell me where i can find the interview feedbacks, i don't know where to look

The interview feedback link is located next to the Articles, bookstore, blogs, etc tabs at the very top of the page. After you click on it, you just find the school you're looking for.

I received a list of hotels to stay from Tufts, where would you guys recommend?

Priceline ticket+hotel(double tree downtown) had good prices when I checked. When's your interview?

The doubletree was really nice. It's cheap for downtown hotel too. It is literally 500 ft from the dental school and theres tons of good food places close by (especially if you like Chinese and Viet food!) There was another thread floating around here about hotels in boston if you can find it.
