Tufts Reception

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I would love to go but I have to make a decision by next week, because if I go to tufts I have to take another quarter of biochem. That and I'm out of money 😎

grrr so I just came home tonight from Ithaca for the reception tomorrow, and realised I left the freaking letter in Ithaca on my counter!!!! I am so dumb. I'm almost sure it starts at 1030am, could someone please reply to this so I know for sure? Also, what building are we heading to on campus (the same as for interviews?).

Man, I can't believe I just did that *bangs head against wall* +pissed+

Hi silverelf -- It goes from 10-2:30 in the Administration Building. See you then!

you should go to tufts, cyrille.

i've been wanting to say that for two weeks.

they have a great wildlife program. they're next to boston. i've heard not-so-good things about penn's program. and they have a great wildlife program.

so their school is in an old asylum. it adds character. 🙄

What was the Tufts reception like?

it was pretty nice...we had talks about the wildlife clinic and research (which i could have done without, having been through it at the interview), a small intro to the school from the dean (who was REALLY nice) then at lunch you got to pick a table....small animal med, lg animal med, research, MPH, etc to sit at and talk to a faculty or student about that interest...then they had a student panel...and finally you got to either tour the gross anatomy lab or the teaching barns...i went through the barns and was very impressed...except with the girl who went on the barn tour and thought the wild turkey in the field was a peacock 🙄

kick that girl out! there are other people who know what turkeys look like and want to go to tufts!!!!!

i think the girl who didn't know what an alpaca was also should win an award... 🙂
