Does Tufts expect you to fill out their "essay." Is it okay to say, no, I have no personal reason to go to Tufts or live in Boston, or is this the kiss of death for your application?

Anyone else in a similar situation? Thanks.

For these sorts of dumb questions, just look up their website and all the nice things they say about themselves. Then root around for a bit more info on one or two of these things (e.g. the hospitals, diverse population, blablabla), and write an essay where you discuss all the flattering points they make about themselves, going a little bit more in depth on a point or two, thus showing that you've "done your research."

I hate ******ed questions likes these.

There's another thread on this, but...you should probably just check no...most people interpret that question as asking if you have a spouse going to school in Boston, have a sick relative you have to care for there, etc. If you don't have anything on that level to add, you should leave it blank.
