Has anyone tried calling tufts to check the status of their application??? I have heard tufts doesnt reply to the check the status question .

Yes, if you do try calling them, before you can actually speak to a person, there is a message stating that they cannot give you your application status, and if something is missing they'll contact you, etc, etc...

they won't answer you so don't bother. they just started their first round of interviews last week, but don't worry, they interview well into february/march.

same here i was worried till i read this post pisses me off that other schools reply very quick and actually have a human answer the phone, while others dont give a damn about the students who are waiting for something so simple "as yes we received your application"

When you call, and if the answering machine comes on, just leave a message.

Some guy (forgot his name) always, I mean always, calls me back and answers my question.

However, if you're going to ask them about the status of your application, they will just tell you that they're loaded with applications to look at and the admissions committee reviews the applications on a "rolling" basis.

So if you've submitted your application early, and had everything in by the end of September, you should be hearing from Tufts shortly.
