Tufts students please answer

Please give me some information about your school. How do you like it? do you have enough patient pool? how is the living situation? Do they help with finding other first years that need a roommate? Graduating from Tufts.would it make it more easy or more difficult to get to especialty? Columbia verses Tuft which one should I choose? Any insight is greatly appriciated!

I'm in my 2nd year at tufts and I enjoy the people in my class, the curriculum in 2nd year could be put together a little better, but overall, i'm happy - as happy as you could be with the workload. Tufts usually matches incoming 1st years with other first years in the dental and medical school in an apartment building nearby the school, they really watch out for you. I think its not as easy to specialize coming out of tufts just because 2nd year is so intense, its harder to do well so your gpa isnt as inflated as it would be elsewhere. Tufts tends to do well on the boards, so any high score on part 1 would help anyone out who is applying for specialty. I dont really know much about columbia though, sorry.

Thank for the info. Do you have to take classes with the Med students? Do they teach you invisigline? Are the students competative? Are they friendly? Do you have note taking service? Are your finals cumulative? Do they curve your grades? Any information is greatly apreciated.
