Tufts Waitlist....

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'm still waiting. Had to talk to someone in admissions about something. I happened to ask how the waitlist was looking and if it was going to be like the last few years and not budge. I was told it probably wouldn't move much.

i'll say this much-i think that tuft's practice of taking $750 from anyone on the waiting list and holding their money for months is wrong. and i think that the constant mail and forms that they send you, each time making you think that you were accepted, is mean spirited.

i know someone who has placed their deposit, but will not be attending tufts.. i'm not sure if the spot opened up yet

You do get a full refund if you don't withdraw from the waiting list and it is past a certain date (I don't remember when).

i wonder tinman-is there any other dental school that makes people on the waiting list make a large deposit?

so I wonder for those that are on the waitlist, does it mean that the chances of getting in after reapplying are higher?

They do have deferred enrollment but, its at their discretion to do so. It would be nice if they told me they would accept me for 2007. That would save me a bunch of cash on AADSAS and application fees.
