i dont know how i overlooked the biochem requirement...but i did. 🙁

i was under the impression that it was needed before matriculation, like with umd. umd says that u jsut have to take the class soemtime before entering the school (so im assuming uc an take it as late as the summer session).

is that the same case with tufts??? i am extremely worried!! i cannot beleive i didnt catch this before....🙁

any input would be great! thanks!!

I'd say go to the Tufts website and see when classes start for D-school. I'm under the impression that it's in July but I haven't looked at the website for a while. If classes are in mid-summer then you'll probably have a problem fitting the class in before starting. Good luck.

Orientation starts at the end of August but for our class but Tufts required summer session transcripts by August 15th. So if you don't finish your classes before the 15th, looks like you might be out of luck.

tufts also has a 30hour minimum shadowing requirement... do you guys know if that's required for interview or just before matriculation?

Aug 15th deadline isn't a real problem.... I sent my summer transcript around 23th or so and they didn't give me any trouble....

I talked to an admissions officer by e-mail over the summer and this is what he said:

In regards to biochem, "It is perfectly acceptable to apply prior to taking Biochemistry. I recommend listing it under the "planned coursework" section of your AADSAS application, so that we know you are aware of the requirement.

In regard to shadowing I am still not sure if the letter has to be in now or before matriculation.
