Have done some searching, but can't find any good info on the Tufts gas program.

Can anyone help out? Can't decide if I should keep or cancel my interview.

Thanks

anyone? please?

any info would help

i think its an underrated program. im happy here as i would be anywhere.
good cases. reasonable schedule, good name/fellowship placements. boston.
there were some changes of leadership with a new chairman leaving after a year and the old chairman returning from retirement.. who cares?
the vibe is that is was for the better and its a good vibe overall here
i think all of the upper leadership are nice, reasonable, and great clinically
there have also been a lot of new attendings this year and most are very solid
they are from programs all over the area such as BID, St. E's, BU, Tufts itself.
strong on peds and cardiac, fellowships offered in both.
they brag that as a CA2 you will feel more confident than most programs in the country due to the difficulty of the cases
schedule is benign but cases are tough as any anesthesia residency is
i really cant think of too many downsides but i guess im biased
pm me for more info

Agree with the above post. Finished the program in 2006. You'll have plenty of big cases and time to enjoy Boston. I was the only one in my class not to do a fellowship. we had 2 pain, 2 peds and 1 cards. Found a nice cush job in southern Cali....boards...partnership. Life is good!
